Orders & Payments

How do I place an order on Peetalya.com?

Simply browse our collections, select the product you love, choose your preferred variant (if applicable), and click Add to Cart. Proceed to checkout, enter your delivery details, and complete payment. You’ll receive an order confirmation email shortly after.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major payment methods including:

  • Credit & Debit Cards (Visa, Mastercard, RuPay)
  • UPI (Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, BHIM)
  • Net Banking
  • Wallets
  • Cash on Delivery (COD) — available on select orders and pin codes
  • EMI options on select cards

Is it safe to make payments on Peetalya.com?

Yes. All transactions on Peetalya.com are processed through secure, PCI-DSS compliant payment gateways. We do not store your card or banking information on our servers.

Can I modify or cancel my order after placing it?

Orders can be modified or cancelled within 24 hours of placement, provided they have not been dispatched. Please write to us immediately at support@peetalya.com with your order number. Once dispatched, orders cannot be cancelled.

Will I receive an invoice for my order?

Yes. A digital invoice will be sent to your registered email address once your order is confirmed. You can also request a copy by writing to us at support@peetalya.com.


Shipping & Delivery

How long will it take to receive my order?

Orders are processed within 1–3 business days. Estimated delivery timelines after dispatch:

  • Metro cities: 3–5 business days
  • Tier 2 & Tier 3 cities: 5–7 business days
  • Remote areas: 7–10 business days
  • International: 10–21 business days depending on destination

Do you offer free shipping?

Yes. We offer free shipping on all domestic orders above ₹1,999. A flat shipping fee of ₹99 applies to orders below this amount.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes, we ship to select international destinations. Shipping charges and timelines vary by country and are calculated at checkout. Customs duties and import taxes, if applicable, are the responsibility of the customer.

How do I track my order?

Once your order is dispatched, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with your tracking number and courier partner details. You can use this to track your shipment in real time.

What if my order is delayed?

While we strive to meet all estimated timelines, occasional delays may occur due to courier operations, weather, or other factors beyond our control. If your order is significantly delayed, please contact us at support@peetalya.com and we will investigate promptly.


Returns, Exchanges & Refunds

What is your return policy?

We accept returns within 7 days of delivery for products that are unused, in original condition, and in original packaging. Please refer to our Returns & Exchange Policy for full details.

How do I initiate a return or exchange?

Email us at support@peetalya.com within 7 days of delivery with your order number, reason for return, and photographs of the product. Our team will respond within 2 business days.

When will I receive my refund?

Once your return is received and inspected, refunds are processed within 7–10 business days to your original payment method. COD refunds are processed via bank transfer.

What if I receive a damaged or wrong product?

We sincerely apologise for the inconvenience. Please contact us at support@peetalya.com within 48 hours of delivery with photographs of the product and packaging. We will arrange a replacement or full refund at no cost to you.

Can I exchange a product for a different item?

Yes, exchanges are accepted for a different size or variant of the same product, or a product of equal or higher value (differential to be paid by the customer), subject to stock availability. Each product can be exchanged only once.

What materials do Peetalya products use?

Peetalya specialises in premium Indian heritage metalware crafted from brass, copper, and kansa (bell metal). Each piece is made using traditional techniques passed down through generations of skilled artisans.

Are your products handcrafted?

Yes. Every Peetalya product is handcrafted by skilled artisans. As a result, each piece is unique — slight variations in texture, finish, patina, or dimensions are natural characteristics of handmade metalware and are not defects. We consider them marks of authenticity.

Will the product look exactly like the image on the website?

We photograph our products with great care to represent them as accurately as possible. However, due to the handcrafted nature of our products and variations in screen colour settings, there may be minor differences in tone, finish, or texture. These are not considered defects.

Are Peetalya products food-safe?

Our brass and copper products are crafted for traditional use and are generally considered safe for storing and serving food and water as per Ayurvedic tradition. Kansa (bell metal) is widely regarded as one of the healthiest metals for eating and drinking. However, we recommend avoiding storing highly acidic foods or beverages in copper or brass vessels for extended periods. When in doubt, please consult a healthcare professional.

Do your products come with a warranty?

Our products are crafted to last a lifetime with proper care. While we do not offer a formal warranty, we stand behind the quality of every piece. If you experience any manufacturing defect, please reach out to us and we will make it right.


Product Care

How do I clean and maintain brass and copper products?

To keep your Peetalya pieces looking their best:

  • Wash with mild soap and warm water. Avoid harsh detergents or abrasive scrubbers.
  • Dry immediately after washing to prevent water spots.
  • For natural polishing, rub with a mixture of lemon juice and salt or tamarind paste, then rinse and dry.
  • Avoid prolonged exposure to moisture or acidic substances.
  • Do not use in microwave ovens or dishwashers.

My brass or copper product has developed a patina. Is this normal?

Absolutely. Patina — the natural darkening or colour change that develops on brass and copper over time — is a sign of authenticity and age. Many of our customers cherish this quality. If you prefer a brighter finish, a simple lemon-and-salt polish will restore the original lustre.

How do I care for kansa products?

Kansa (bell metal) is a durable alloy of copper and tin. Care for it similarly to brass and copper — hand wash with mild soap, dry immediately, and avoid dishwashers. Kansa may develop a natural dark patina with use, which can be polished away with lemon juice or a soft cloth.

Do you offer gift packaging?

Yes. Gift-ready packaging is available on select products and can be opted for at checkout. Our packaging is designed to reflect the premium, heirloom quality of Peetalya products — making them a beautiful gift straight out of the box.

Can I include a personalised gift message?

Yes. You can add a personalised message at checkout and we will include it with your order. For bulk gifting or corporate orders, please write to us at support@peetalya.com.

Do you accept bulk or corporate gifting orders?

Do I need to create an account to shop on Peetalya.com?

No. You can checkout as a guest without creating an account. However, creating an account allows you to track orders, save addresses, and access your order history conveniently.
